Kay’s Bar
The historic Sellwood-Moreland neighborhood of Portland’s southeast quadrant has long been a favorite of Portlanders. Generations have enjoyed the restaurants, movie theater, antique shops, and Kay’s Bar.
Kay’s Bar opened in 1934 and has one of the richest histories of any bar or tavern in the Pacific Northwest. Kay's holds the distinction of being one of the oldest bars in Oregon, maintaining a liquor license in the same location for more than 72 years.
Kay’s offers a creative drink menu, live music 3 nights a week, a comfort food menu, and an unpretentious, comfortable, smoke-free atmosphere!
The music? No cover charge and no brain-rattling scream fest. Just a simple stage and a stool, a microphone and a musician.
Check the calendar, look at the map, and come in to enjoy an evening of Drinks, Music, and Food.
